Located on the lowest level (-3) in sector U, four chargers are available for all patrons who own electric vehicles, providing greater access to EV owners in Ottawa’s downtown core. The NAC’s parking garage, located at 100 Elgin Street, is equipped with 4 Level 2 charging stations, as well as 4 wall outlets for 120vcharging. Access to these charging stations is free of charge, for it is included in the regular price of parking. The NAC continues to demonstrate a strong commitment in reducing their environmental footprint in their operations. Environmental initiatives undertaken by the NAC include participation in Earth Day, and the retrofit of the building which will improve its energy efficiency. These new EV chargers are just another excellent example of how the NAC works towards a cleaner, and more enjoyable future for all. Actions like these promote wider adoption of electric vehicles as EV infrastructure continues to grow.
