The safety of cycling infrastructure in Ottawa was pushed to the front of the agenda in early September after a bike accident death. A rally was held by Councillor Catherine McKenney at Ottawa City Hall where cyclist voiced their support for increased safety for cyclist. The pressure from the community sparked the implementation of bike lanes on the Booth Street Bridge just before it’s reopening.
